IBC Bin Blender

The IBC bin blender uniformly mixes two or more powder materials in pharmaceutical, chemical and food production by rotating an interchangeable IBC bin on a PLC controlled rotary frame. The system consists of a base, rotary frame, drive system, lifting and lowering mechanism, braking system and PLC control panel. On cycle start, the PLC automatically clamps, lifts and rotates the bin at 3 to 20 rpm until the programmed mix time completes. Infrared safety protection monitors the rotation zone continuously. Inner and outer surfaces are polished to a high standard. Nine models cover 50 to 750 kg net load with motor power from 2.2 to 7.7 kW.

Application of GUAN JIAN CI

Manufacturers use the IBC bin blender for GMP compliant uniform blending of active ingredient with excipient, lubricant and disintegrant powder before tablet compression and capsule filling, where closed bin transfer eliminates open powder handling and cross contamination risk. Chemical facilities blend catalyst premix, specialty chemical powder and resin granule in interchangeable bins matched to batch size, reducing bin cleaning and changeover time between different product runs. Food producers blend vitamin and mineral premix, nutritional supplement powder and functional food ingredient blends at large batch volume in a single closed cycle. Contract manufacturing organizations run multiple products on a single blender frame by assigning dedicated bins to each product, eliminating cross contamination between product families without additional equipment investment.
