Ribbon Mixer

The horizontal ribbon mixer runs two counter rotating ribbons inside a U shape trough on a common main shaft. The outer ribbon pushes material from both ends toward the center while the inner ribbon simultaneously returns material from the center outward. This opposing flow creates rapid uniform blending across the full batch volume. The center bottom discharge port uses ribbon rotation and a butterfly valve to empty the trough cleanly with very low residue. Six models from CWRB 200 to CWRB 3000 handle 80 to 1500 kg per batch with motor power from 3 to 18.5 kW and shaft speed from 32 to 65 rpm.

Application

Food manufacturers blend flour, starch, sugar, salt, seasoning powder, protein powder and dried vegetable flakes into uniform premix for baked goods, instant noodles and condiment packing lines. Feed mills mix grain meal, premix vitamins, minerals and additives into complete animal feed batches. Chemical facilities blend pigments, dyes, resin powder, detergent base and catalyst premix where consistent batch uniformity is required. Pharmaceutical producers blend active ingredient with excipient filler, lubricant and disintegrant powder before tablet pressing or capsule filling. Building material plants mix dry mortar, tile adhesive, grout base and cement additive powder for bagging lines.
